I continually say, "I love what I do and do what I love." I work and teach out of a historic box shop in my town, now Leverett Crafts & Arts. When I am not visiting with customers at Sawmill River Arts in a nearby restored 1834 mill, I am off to my favorite painting locations, usually in New England and not far from home.
Sometimes I'm lucky enough to bunk with friends so I can paint in Kenya or travel with a daughter in Guatemala, returning to work on special series about Africa or the rainforest. Other painters join me to paint in the Southwest or Vermont or the southern hills of New York state. In the winter, I'm likely to explore new painting ideas or old favorites like junk cars and trucks.
"Between the lines" of my life are writing times with my husband Ben, fun times with family, marketing my paintings on ceramic tiles and public presentations on many of my favorite art and historical themes.
So come along! Wander through this site and join me in my rich and ever changing
art life. Don't miss viewing my life's work under my
